Concordia 40th Reunion

This was the year for my 40th college reunion. I made a weekend of it. Becky was busy taking care of her mother after she broke her hip. |
| The Dovre Campanile did not exist when I attended but Dr. Dovre was the President of the college. |
|
|
On Saturday we had a breakfast with my class. We had a good turnout. Everyone told stories of their lives since graduating. |
| At the homecoming parade I caught the Cobber mascot for a selfie. |
|
|
The game was fun because Concordia controlled it all the way. Even better, I got to sit with a bunch of friends from Perham. They were there for 2 reasons. One is that a Perham grad plays for Concordia. The second was that one of the inductees into Concordia's Athletic Hall of Fame now lives in Perham. |
| Third from the right is Russ Winkels. He was a standout defensive back. He was so good that he was MVP of the MIAC (an honor rarely given to a defensive player). |
